Parent Child Stranger Awareness Class A Personal ‘Safety Program For You and Your Child
Who: Children ages ‘5-13 years along with a parent (parent attendance is required).
What: This program will address good strangers vs. bad strangers, appropriate and inappropriate behaviors and recognizing and avoiding dangerous people and situations. Class will also include practical demonstrations, self- protection skills and role-playing. Bullying and juvenile perpetrators will also be discussed. Course is taught by current and retired Law Enforcement Officers with over 50 years of combined experience, as well as 80+ years martial arts training.
When: ‘Saturday, February 16th from 12-1 p.m.
Where: Io4enKan of Tucson Martial Arts Fitness 250 N. Pantano Rd Suite 100 (one block North of Broadway, across the street from Kohl’s)
Cost: $29 for a child with parent, $10 each additional child from same family. Payment is required at registration (cash, credit card, personal check or debit card). Please register early as class site is limited!
Please Note: Parental attendance and written consent are required Participants should wear comfortable clothing so that they can perform fitness activities and practice self-defense techniques. Shoes are not permitted on mat areas. Light refreshments will be served.
