New dog park named after Miko, a TPD police dog that lost its life in the line of duty. Features: Lighted, fenced, three double entry gates, large turf areas, divided two-acre site for large and small dogs, dog-friendly potable water fountains, Scooper dispenser, includes ramada with tables.

We visited Gene C. Reid Park Dog Park at night on evening in Sept 2008
There is plenty of lightat the park in both the large and small dog areas at Gene C. Reid Park Dog Park
There is an area to post messages about lost dogs, etc. This dog was tired and waited near one of the benches around the park
There is a dog drinking fountain near the north gate
There were plenty of dogs to play with at the dog park that night
No fights broke out all the dogs had a good time
There is plenty of room for the dogs to run on grass at the Reid Park Dog Park
